About Us

The Pandit Dwarka Prasad Mishra Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Jabalpur (PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur) was established by the Ministry of Education, Government of India in January 2005 with an aim to promote excellence in the field of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing. It was envisaged that the new Institute would serve as an inter-disciplinary institution for education and research by keeping the concept of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) in mind. The Institute is being developed and nurtured under the India-Japan partnership as a unique Institute of its kind with a focus on IT enabled Design and Manufacturing. The charter of PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur is enunciated to emerge amongst the foremost institutions in IT enabled Design and Manufacturing and allied fields of knowledge and innovation to empower the nation to the forefront from the global perspective.
