About Us
The Institute is located at the industrial city Haldia in Eastern India, 125 km from Kolkata Airport/Railway Station. The city is surrounded by various giant industries like- Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Adani Wilmar Ltd., Hindustan Unilever Ltd., Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd., Exide Industries, Mitshubishi Chemical Corporation, Tata Chemicals, IVL Dhunseri Petrochem Industries Private Ltd., Electrosteel Castings Ltd., Tata Steel Ltd., Indian Oil PETRONAS Pvt Ltd., Hiranmaye Energy Ltd., Haldia Dock Complex and many more.
The Institute is an enclave campus of 37 acres of land having 9 Boys’ hostels and 4 Girls’ hostels (including dedicated Foreign Nationals). Other facilities like. Restaurant, OpenAir Cafeteria, Departmental Store, Pharmacy, Bank with ATM Kiosk, Laundry, Saloon, Post Office, Book Store and Reprographic Section alongwith Outdoor/Indoor games, Yoga Centre and Gymnasium. The campus is equipped with own Electrical Sub-station of 850 KVA with emergency back-up power supply. Dedicated Training and Placement Cell at the campus, Kolkata and Bangaluru.
