K.S.Rangasamy College of Technology (KSRCT) is one of the premier institutions of India founded in 1994 by Lion Dr. K. S. Rangasamy.
The institution has developed a student-centred success culture and offers the highest importance in ensuring consistent high-quality teaching learning and research experiences. KSRCT has established a right culture of diversity and inclusivity in the campus; it welcomes unconventional thoughts, cross collaboration of ideas, multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary approaches. It offers 13 UG, 10 PG departments and 20 potential research departments along with a wide range of world class extracurricular facilities and support to students where they feel that it is their own campus for learning. Area of Excellence
KSRCT Innovation Technology Park aims to provide the skill sets of design, analyze and digital manufacturing to engineering students to meet the current demands of industry. KSRCT AICTE -IDEA Lab enables to improve critical thinking & complex problem-solving abilities among the students where they can check the feasibility of ideas into prototype. KSR Technical Textile park enables to produce the technical textile products using the state-of-art facilities.
Research Capability and Focus Area
The Institution supports the researchers through Internal Funding-Seed Grants where the faculty, researchers are encouraged for collaborative Research, patent filing. The Institution is one among the 49 Institutions selected across the India to establish the 1.34 Crore worth AICTE IDEA Lab with the objective to convert innovative ideas into products. 8.48 Crore received from National Technical Textile Mission (NTTM) of Ministry of Textile (MoT) for technical textile research work. MSME approved incubation center,1.17 Crore received for innovation and start-ups. Anna University recognized research institute.
Academic Facilities
KSRCT Campus is located in a sprawling 28.085 acres of lush green Campus with built up area of 1,22,893.75 sq m. The Campus is equipped with 58 class rooms with ICT facilities, LCD projectors, WiFi-LAN, PA system, including smart classrooms.
