About Us

Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) was established by the Govt. NCT of Delhi in May, 2013 vide Delhi Act 09 of 2012, as a non-affiliating University to facilitate and promote studies, research, technology, innovation, incubation and extension work in emerging areas of professional education among women, with focus on engineering, technology, applied sciences, architecture and its allied areas with the objective to achieve excellence in these and related fields.

Eligibility Criteria: ( 10+2 in Physics with 60% And 10+2 in Mathematics with 60% And ( 10+2 in Computer Science with 50% OR 10+2 in Chemistry with 50% OR 10+2 in Biology with 50% OR 10+2 in Biotechnology with 50% OR 10+2 in Forensic Science with 50% OR 10+2 in Science with 50% ) )

Additional Exams/Criteria: At least one of the following: (JEE Mains with a minimum of 60 percentile or SAT with minimum 60% score or American College Testing with minimum 60% score) AND TOEFL with a minimum score of 60 and ILETS with minimum 5 score. Detailed information about essential qualification: 60% aggregrate or equivalent marks in all subjects of qualifying examination i.e. 10+2 or equivalent from any system of education as recognized by AIU. The candidate must have studies Physics, Mathematics and any one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Bio-technology, Computer Science, Biology, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Science or any other Science/allied subject (apart from language) for admission to various B.Tech Program
