About Us

Approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of India. PGDM is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The PGDM programme is also approved by Association of Indian universities (AIU) as equivalent to MBA. Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) has been established as an autonomous institution, with active support from the Government of Bihar. The institute was established with the objective of contributing substantially to the academic and development credentials of Bihar, while fulfilling the primary role of training students to become effective managers. The institute follows most of the practices, systems and processes of leading management institutes in India.

Research Capability and Focus Area

Each faculty member at CIMP has a core research focus. Faculty members try to bring their research to the classroom by familiarising students with relevant research findings.

Notable Research / Publication

Faculty members have published in A and A* journals ranked by the ABDC. Their research has appeared in journals such as the Journal of Marketing Management, Annals of Tourism Research, International Journal of Information Management, Journal of Sustainable Tourism and Industrial Marketing Management.

Academic Facilities

Our classrooms are equipped with modern technology. Our auditorium can accommodate more than 500 guests and has been host to several guest lectures from visiting faculty from the US and UK.

Library Database

The fully-automated library is powered by Virtual Library Management software and RFID Security systems. Students have the facility to access e-resources 24x7 within and outside the campus.
