About Us
M.I.E.T. Engineering College was established by the Mohamed Institute of Education & Technology Society, Tiruchirappalli in the year 1998 with an objective to promote the cause of higher education and recognized as a Muslim Minority Institution. M.I.E.T. Engineering College offers 8 UG programmes and 5 PG programmes in Engineering apart from a PG programme in management studies. Mechanical Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering departments are also offers Ph.D. programme. The college is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The college is accredited by NAAC with A+ grade in the first cycle and recognized by UGC under section 2f and 12(B) of UGC act 1956.An ISO 9001-2015 certified institution has 3 NBA Accredited UG programmes.

Center of excellence were established in all the departments in collaboration with leading industrial giants through functional MoUs National Highway Authority of India,BSNL,SIEMENS,Ashok Leyland.
