About Us

With the noble vision: “To Make Every Man a Success and No Man a Failure”, Hindustan University chisels today’s citizens to face the future with confidence. The cherished objective of building a Centre of Excellence in Engineering was the need of the hour in the 1980’s. This need led to the establishment of Hindustan College of Engineering (HCE) in 1985. HCE was awarded the status of Deemed University in 2008 in recognition of its excellence in education and contribution to the Nation. The University is recognized by UGC, NBA, NAAC, AICTE, MHRD & COA. Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science is one of the most sought after engineering institutions in Tamil Nadu. It is reputed for its highly qualified and experienced faculty, excellent infrastructural facilities, curricular and extracurricular activities.
