Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Kochi, established in 1944, is affiliated to MG University, Kerala. Since its origin, the college follows its core philosophy: holistic vision - harmony of the intellectual, physical and spiritual endeavours enshrined in its motto, cor rectum inquirit scientiam. The college in 16 UG and 16 PG and 7 Research programmes. The College is a Centre with Potential for Excellence under UGC. The College was accredited FIVE STAR in 2000, A+ in 2007 and A Grade in 2013 by NAAC. In the NIRF ranking, the college is ranked 55. 50 % of the faculty are Ph.D holders and have produced 204 international/national publications during the last 3 years including 84 Scopus indexed publication.
