About Us
St. Thomas College, Palai, has to its credit seventy-four years of distinguished service in the field of higher education, sending out many graduates maxima cum laude to carve out their destinies in diverse spheres. The college is located in a semi-urban area that still preserves the idyllic charm of the countryside. It is reaccredited by the national assessment agency with the highest grade.
Currently 18 UG, 15 PG and 10 doctoral programmes are offered. The college is situated in a lush green campus with a complex of ten multi-storied and eight single storied buildings

Research Capability and Focus Area
There are 10 PhD programs in various disciplines. There are 17 research laboratories consisting of all necessary facilities. The major research areas include nano, nanocomposites, fuel cells etc.
