About Us
Cauvery College for Women, one of the premier self-financing colleges in the State of Tamil Nadu, started in the year 1984, run by the Reddy Educational Trust. The college is recognized 2f and 12 B under UGC Act andd we are Accredited A Grade with NAAC. Our Institution has been conferred with Autonomous status and ISO Certified. The college is offering 16 Under Graduate Programmes, 10 Post Graduate Programmes and 8 Research Programmes with total student strength of 4100. We have 216 members of teaching with 125 Ph.D. and secured 1630 University Ranks with 141 University First Ranks. We had Staff and Student collaborative activities with two foreign Universities - UMEA UNIVERSITY, SWEDEN and PLYMOUTH UNIVERSITY, UK. We have ICT enabled Hitech infrastructure and well- equipped laboratories.

Research Capability and Focus Area
College has eight research centers in Commerce, Social Work, Tamil, Mathematics, Computer Science, Management, Microbiology and Physics. We have 37 research supervisors with Hitech Research Labs.
