About Institution : Rungta College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh (affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University, Bhilai) has been established in 2006. The institute is running Diploma, UG, PG and Ph.D. Programs in Pharmacy. The Institute is accredited by NBA and NAAC, it is the only pharmacy institute in the state which ranked in MHRD NIRF. and approved as SIROs by DSIR. It is recognized for its excellence in producing University toppers and GPAT qualified students in the State. The research grants of about 1.25 crores have been received by the institute from the agencies like SERB, DST, ICMR, AICTE and CCOST. Several research fellows get benefitted by these grants. So far institute has produced 06 Ph.D. in different discipline. The faculty members have published more than 200 papers till date in various journals and has filed 05 patents. They received prestigious P. D. Sethi Award, Olson Prize, P. P, Suryakumari Prize, B. Uvnas Prize and Young Scientist awards for their research publications. Faculty members have published their research article in many-reputed International Journals, and visits countries like Dubai, Singapore and USA to present their research findings. Institute also have research collaboration and joint publication with centre of excellence like NIPER, Central Universities and foreign universities.
