About Us
The University of Southampton is a founding member of the leading research-intensive UK Russell Group, and a double top 100 university (ranked 81st in the QS World University Rankings, 2024 and ranked 97th in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings, 2024).
Enabled by the University Grants Commission Regulations, 2023, the University established a comprehensive campus delivering education, research and knowledge exchange and enterprise activity in Gurugram, Haryana from 2025.
Programmes are taught in English and content is equivalent to that delivered in the UK with only minor adaptations made to accommodate local cultural practices. Matching programme lengths of internationally respected UK degrees, undergraduates study for three years, and postgraduates for one year.
The programmes are delivered on a full-time basis, and the learning activities include in-person lectures, tutorials, coursework, individual and group projects and independent learning.
The campus is a secure contemporary space, with facilities comparable to the standard of those available in Southampton. The space stimulates learner engagement through provision of a range of learning and teaching spaces, from formal lecture and seminar rooms to learning spaces and social environments. It is a high-quality, technology-rich environment, with digital infrastructure to cater for individual and collaborative learning.
